Ready Set Drama!

Growing up, I remember Sundays being a special day in my home. Sundays were for church and family; we prepared and ate dinner together. Grandma Ruby taught me so much. Those days hold a special place in my heart. I am glad that we now have a dining room that is cozy and welcoming, A place where we can start our traditions and enjoy meals together.

The last eight months have been a whirlwind. Moving into a new house and making it home takes a lot of work. We came from a tiny two-bedroom apartment without a dedicated eating space. We enjoyed many of our meals on the couch. So it's safe to say I was excited to get moving, but first, we had to get through all the paperwork, and we gave the sellers additional time to move. I was anxious and excited, so I put that energy into mood-boarding most rooms. This made the whole process easier. So, without further ado, here is our dining room!

The Mood Board

I had so much fun creating this space. Mostly, the design is the same, with added art pieces and plants. We always use it for eating, playing board games, and even as a folding laundry station. Haha, a mom's gotta do what a moms gotta do! We love this space and the pantry we created in the dining room closet. Keep an eye out for that transformation next.
